A Covered Bridge in New Hampshire, treated to look like an old photo

The photo was taken in New Hampshire in May 2009, and then I followed an online tutorial to age it to look old

Nice pic and nice effect. Looks like the pedestrian part isn't covered. Any idea why the main bit is covered? MK

New Hampshire has (had) lots of covered bridges. They get a lot of snow in the winter so I guess that's part of it. The paler bit nearer the camera which isn't covered is newer - the path comes down from behind the camera whereas the road comes from the right.

Any chance of posting the link to the method used for the ageing process Ben.

Sorry not my cup of tea frown but I'm sure lots out there would like to try some simular thou smile
