Annual Visual Art Competition, 6th April 2010

These winning images are taken (with the consent of the authors) from the ‘print’ and the ‘projected image’ competitions. They have been rescaled but are otherwise as far as possible unchanged. There were 13 print entries and 20 digital projected images. Titles were not disclosed during the judging.

Images marked ‘*commended’ were rated ‘highly commended’ by the judge.

Due to an unforeseen (and entirely unintentional) complication about a possible copyright issue, this section did not run to a normal completion and no first prize was awarded. The following four prints achieved at least 'commended' scores.

Please be aware that there are technical difficulties in the precise matching of image presentations across different computer platforms, between projected images on screen and equivalent prints, and then in these web-based versions. Most of these issues have been resolved, but there may be small differences between what you see here and what members saw 'live' on the evening of the competition.
