Print Competition (1) 27th October 2009

These images are taken (with the consent of the authors) from the digital equivalent of high scoring entries in the print image competition. They have been rescaled on backgrounds which simulate the mounts used for the actual prints, but are otherwise as far as possible unchanged. There were 80 print entries in total.

Scores are awarded by the judge out of a maximum of 20. Titles are not disclosed during the judging. The 'development' class is intended for those members who are actively developing their skills in competition photography.

Some further images - near-misses which did not make a score of 18 or over, but which appealed to the editor - have been added to an also ran collection.
