Eight days on - A return to Cookham and its environs

The walk we took just before the clocks went back in October 2007 incorporated part of a route I had taken many times. An important element added of the route selected by Damp and Dismal was the circular nature of it. Retracing your steps is often uninteresting. So, I retook the route, in warmer and sunnier conditions, to commit it to memory.

I added a small detour at the far edge of the golf course to take in views over the river and Bourne End beyond, but otherwise proceeded exacly as we had the previous weekend.
