An excellent walk organised by Ed Doughty.

Firstly I would like to thank you for all of those that made the walk possible. The fine weather was a bonus, the company was great and the area for the walk the best (well I have to say that seeing I live there !)
Now come on you lot (- Rod) start sticking some of them pictures up I know there was some cracking shots taken !

Thanks to everyone that came along, around 32 all in all, so our best attended club walk. I hope it has inspired you all to take more local pictures this summer.
Ed
Hi Steve - nice pics! Could you add a brief note about how you did the IR shot, for the curious, please.

Hi John, all my shots were "tweaked"with Aperture (mac) and the IR was created with a plugin called Nik silver efx. I'll post up the original which was nicely lit but was a bit boring. thanks for the comments, my favorite was the grasses which is pretty much as is.
Oh well!
Added mine. Couldnt get my mojo working, so not great.
Thanks to all for a great evening, and to our personal tour guide, complete with history lessons, was very intresting.

Paula Herron, Dan Crowe .... right, from now on I'm only taking pics of people with birds in their names.

so have you got a picture of your self taken by you then Rod ?

Well done Ed for organising the evening, and booking some great weather. Great to see so many people at a club walk. The biggest surprise of the evening, was the fact that Mike Kiely was not the last person to turn up!
Finally got round to loading a couple of pictures from last week's walk which was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Can someone tell me if it's possible to view the pictures in the gallery as a 'slideshow' or do you have to click on each in turn to view them large.

Ok, why do Rod and I have photos of each other?? Anyway, was a good evening, and some great photos were obviously taken. I grew up in Eton Wick- never realised how photogenic it can be round there!
Evelyn: At the moment you have to click on each photo and then click back to the gallery. Newer versions of the wiki software have a better gallery feature so we may be able to improve this in due course.
I've just added one of mine. Sorry if it's a bit like one of yours, Evelyn! Chris
Chris: Thanks for the finger-post. It has lasted well since I painted it about eight years ago! Have you seen the one with the trlobites?
