On 6th January the promise of unbroken sunshine took me to Hambleden. I parked in the main public car park and walked the woods to the west of the main road, as per a previous club walk. The car park was heaving, so I wasn't the only one encouraged by such a positive forecast.

Conifer Cones

Safe to say the forecasters were wrong. It clouded over several times and even rained for a few minutes. However it was much milder than on the club walk around Eton, the previous morning.

Leaf on a Log

It has to be said that at this time of year, photos are a little more difficult to find and the paths could do with being a little drier and firmer.
