Image Selection Process

Hello all,

After being asked how do I get an Image in to Sainbury's, what do I have to do to get an image in to Sainsbury's and a few more !

I thought I would put down a FEW notes on the the how and why it happens.

The Sainsbury Team consists of the Team of three ( make voting easer) "We" view the images on display on the club comp nights and choose/ vote on what we think will go in to the gallery. This could be the high scoring outstanding images that have been scored by a judge or image that "we" like and think will fit in, but might not be all of the high scoring ones.

We will ask to retain images on the night of a comp so that we can review them in the view of being used in the gallery, this doesn't mean that they will be used and they might not be used in the next display month.

The gallery gets swapped out each month, at the beginning of the month or at the end of the month depending on when its good for us

We also hold themed galleries, which we ask for images to be put forward as and when required ( example 6x4's) Members have also been asked for portfolios that can be displayed, some to share with others at the same time, these members are chosen by having a track record with good quality printed images.

The gallery is also used by outside groups ( so its not all ours)

I hope this clears up a few things to the new members and also the older ones that don't know either.
