Return visits to Kew Gardens

In good light Kew is a great place just to walk around. An added bonus are all the photo opportunities. I have maintained my membership and return from time to time. I have grown more interested in macro phtotography, and wider views, and so have acquired lenses to suit.

Sadly, in these exciting times for digital photography, the 'body' is fast becoming a disposable item, to be upgraded at the will of the manufacturers. I have gradually become committed to Canon, so have chosen to invest in lenses to suit. I am just waiting for the cheap, vibration eliminating, dust busting, full frame sensor, 16+ megapixel behemoth, which is surely just around the corner. In the meantime, the 10D continues to faithfully serve, having long past the 10,000 shot mark (it returns to zero, if you're interested - or maybe I've done something to upset the electrics).

Anyway, back to Kew, I have visited about four times since my last page so thought it would be a good idea to publish a few more images. I'm keen to go back and have another go at the doorways.
