Mink On The Rampage

I had been following a couple of Coots for a few weeks as they started to build up their nest, and the eggs had been duly laid. Imagine my surprise when I went to the river to see this little rascal having a lovely egg lunch. I have been told it is a Mink, a pretty rare sight around Maidenhead I think.

As you can see the Coots had used an old piece of Tesco Packaging to line their nest, or perhaps the Mink thought it was a list of ingredients for its lunch.
