Joe Humm has been getting salon acceptances - his prints "Rob" "Columns" and "Sunflowers" were accepted at Dumfries International Exhibition of Photography. "Rob" and "Columns" were accepted at Arden International Small Print Exhibition and "Rob" was also accepted at Carlisle and West Cumbria International Exhibition of Photography. Joe says "No awards but still feeling pretty pleased as there were 5,500+ entries from 40+ countries". [4 Mar 2010]

External Competitions

Maidenhead won the third round of the Rosebowl! The results are now on the External Competitions page. [21 Feb 2010]

The results of the recent PAGB Natural History competition are now on the External Competitions page. We finished down the field in 47th position overall with our top scores making only 12 (out of 15) - the winners must have had some stunning images. . . [18 Feb 2010]

There was a Development Group outing on 6th March 2010 to BBOWT College Lake near Tring with Dave Mundy and Ed Doughty. There is a page of Pictures from the walk

Maidenhead Heritage Centre 16th April - 15th May: Maidenhead at the Millenium - 10 years on. An exhibition of photographs taken in May 2000 by residents of Maidenhead, including club members. Rod Bird knows all about it!

Bracknell Camera Club are hosting a special evening with Andy Rouse on 29th April in Ascot. As one of the world's top wildlife photographers, and a natural entertainer, it will be an excellent evening. Details and booking form here.

Fluffy Bits
