Maidenhead Camera Club is delighted to announce that it has secured a booking with one of the country's best ever press photographers, Mike Maloney.

An illustrated talk, entitled 'Photo-Journalism Around the World', is expected to sell out at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts. Hosted by Maidenhead Camera Club, the event will take place at 8pm on Tuesday 11th April.

Norden Farm is a superb venue for what has become something of an annual flagship event for the club. As well as the main stage and usual theatrical facilities, guests are welcomed to 'make an evening of it' - the restaurant will be serving food beforehand, and there is a fully stocked bar.

Club Chairman, Michael Kiely enthused, "I am particularly proud to be welcoming Mike Maloney to a Maidenhead audience. As an avid reader of Mike Maloney in Amateur Photographer it is clear to me this is going to be a fantastic event. Mike has won many awards, was chief Photographer for Mirror Group Newspapers and has rubbed shoulders with royalty and top political figures. He has boundless enthusiasm and knowledge which he never tires of sharing. Various club members have also worked tirelessly to deliver a tremendous opportunity to hear Mike Speak."
