The Photographer's Boots

The Photographer went for a walk today.

He took us

img_6134.jpg Across grids over deep holes with water in,

img_6136.jpg Along metal walkways over weirs with water rushing past underneath,

img_6139.jpg On concrete paths with water all over them,

img_6145.jpg Along paths across wet grass

img_6146.jpg Rather closer to the river (more water) than we really wanted to go,

img_6150.jpg Across cattle grids with water under them,

And to cap it all, he locked us in the back of the car while he went into the pub for a pint!

I like this, it's a nice idea well executed. The typical CACC judge wouldn't understand it, which is a sure sign of originalty. I like almost every attempt to group photos together into sets : often a collection of photos comes to more than the sum of the individual images.

Mysteriously your boots changed colour over the course of the walk, Andrew. You probably need to run Bootgamma.exe to recalibrate them.

I see what you mean about the boots. More worryingly, my legs changed colour as well! Recalibrating them was a bit harder - it took two weeks' strenuous walking in the high Alps...

Rods eyes are just sensitive after all those years in the dark room working only on black and white...
