2006

Sept 5 Season Launch. Find out what is going on at the Club, meet other members, taster sessions and sneak previews of forthcoming events.
Sept 12 How Did You Do That?. Contributors to the Summer Library Exhibition show off their work and explain how it was conceived and achieved. Led by Andy Page.
Sept 19 Professional Reportage Photography by Patrick Ward. An image intensive evening on reportage, led by one of Britain’s leading practitioners. The evening will feature several local views and will include discussion on professional adoption for digital capture and output.
Sept 26 Masking & Mounting and Trial Digital Competition. Top tips for presenting prizewinning pictures. followed by a light-hearted trial digital competition and a chance to review your images on the new digital equipment.
Oct 3 Projected Image Competition No. 1. Includes both digital and film based images.
Oct 10 Print Competition No. 1.
Oct 17 Opening of Frame 4 Exhibition in The Gallery at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts. Featuring the work of Paul Franklin, Bill O’Keefe, Andy Page and Mark Russell. N.B. no meeting at Cox Green.
Oct 24 Water and Sand. California as seen by David Birch.
Oct 28 (Saturday) - Walk to mark the last day of summertime led by Rod Bird. Meet 09.15 at Cox Green CC ; we'll leave at 09.30 and return early afternoon.
Oct 31 Landscapes - A Personal View with Hugh Milson MFIAP.
Nov 7 The Cloud Forests and Galapagos Islands presented by Mike Wilkes.
Nov 14 Projected Image Competition No. 2. Includes both digital and film based images.
Nov 21 Print Competition No. 2.
Nov 28 WWW.MAIDENHEAD.CC Explained. A hands on tutorial at Cox Green School in their IT Dept. N.B. no meeting in Cox Green Centre.
Dec 5 Portraiture for the Amateur. Presented by John Palmer ARPS, a professional portrait photographer with 40 years experience.
Dec 12 Projected Image Competition No. 3. Includes both digital and film based images.
Dec 19 Pictorial Print and Slide/Projected Image Competition.

2007

Jan 9 Namibia - Land of Dunes and Quiver Trees. Paul Franklin is our guide to this fascinating corner of the globe.
Jan 16 People Print and Slide/Projected Image Competition.
Jan 23 Still Life and, in a change to the programme, Trial Digital Images Session. Learn how to take still life pictures in an extensive session led by Andy Page, followed by a chance to display test images on the club's digital imaging set up. Learn appropriate settings to get that winning file from your images - this will be an interactive, open session.
Jan 30 Print Competition No. 3.
Feb 6 CSI Maidenhead. A fascinating insight into modern forensic photography by a current Police Forensic Photographer.
Feb 13 No meeting due to important refurbishment works to our venue.
Feb 20 Even More Walks with my Camera, described by Rod Bird.
Feb 27 Natural History Print and Projected Image/Slide Competition.
March 6 Enhancing Your Images A look at the finer points of Sharpening and Colour Reproduction with Mark Russell.
March 13 Print Competition No. 4.
March 20 Landscape Print and Projected Image/Slide Competition.
March 27 Understanding Composition. Rod Bird and Paul Franklin challenge us to think more about how we compose our images.
April 3 Digital Panoramics (without parallax error) and Your Photoshop Questions Answered. Interactive sessions led by John Ashford and Glynn Grylls.
April 10 Fifteen times Five. Fifteen images from 10 members (arranged by Peter Noble).
April 17 Wildlife of the Falklands with Dickie Duckett. A peek at penguins and other native species.
April 24 Projected Image Competition No. 4. Includes both digital and film based images.
May 1 Portfolio Print and Projected Image/Slide Competition. Sets of 3 prints and/or 3 digital images/slides, on a related theme.
May 8 Print Competition No. 5.
May 15 AGM (from 7.45pm) + Second Innings. Brief AGM followed by a review of favourite images of the season, selected by Members from the www site and PI indexes, with comments by the authors. May 22 Creative Print Competition.
May 29 First of our local walks, details to follow.
