Walk Around Richmond Park, 24th October 2010

It was well worth getting up early for this trip, organised by Steve Mundy, as he had booked some glorious weather for the day. We had primarily gone to take pictures of the deer, but we found a whole range of subjects to photograph.

An enjoyable outing. It's quite interesting to look back at the timestamps on my images and realise that I saw 90% of my deer in the last 10% of my time in the park! If I'd known there were hundreds of them out on the plains I would never have spent so much time skulking around in the woods. I suspect lessons in fieldcraft would help. Thanks to Steve for organising it.
