Runnymede and the RAF Memorial

A place to reflect, RAF Memorial

I visited Runnymede on 10th May 2008. Parked in the National Trust car park by the river and walked up Cooper's Hill, taking in the JFK memorial, the RAF Memorial, the woodland, the Magna Carta Memorial and finally, a pair of dandelion seed heads. Warm sunshine, very little mud, poor sky (but you can't have everything).

Weed

Worth visiting for the historical interest alone, Runnymede is just the other side of Old Winsor, on the way to Staines. For the real Spring growth I was aiming for I was probably two weeks too late. Still, the dandelions next to the car park and river were a bonus.
