Spring flowers

Spring has been slow to arrive, little rain and cold temperatures has held back the blossom. Even though it was still chilly today and very blustery I took a tour of the garden, snipped a few bits off here and there and brought the flowers inside.

With a piece of blue card, a single lamp and a table top with some green cloth, I set about recreating 'spring' as I would wish it to be. By placing some foleage in the back ground and using a macro lens I think the effect works.
