The end of Summer-Time walk, 2011

This is one I cooked earlier

Saturday 29th October 2011 at 09.30 / John Ashford walked in front, mostly. The sub shone, partly, and better later.

We met at the car park in Lake End Road where it crosses the Jubilee River (GR 928 795) and went west on the Jubilee River (aka The Flood Ditch), across past Dorney GC and Church and into the Arboretum. Then we wrapped around the Time Machine and trundled across Dorney Common to Mount Farm and so back to the Jubilee River at the Dorney Wetlands, and home.

A dozen or so members had a pleasant stroll, one by folding bicycle, which is a new idea for us. Autumn colour was working fine, and there were scenic bits, birds & cows on offer for photography. No one fell in the water, anywhere.
