The Decisive Moment

In the Season 2010-2011 there will be an Annual Themed Competition as an on-line event. It will all work very much like previous seasons’ Annual Competitions on-line, which have been well supported.

The subject will be The Decisive Moment in all its aspects.

There may be up to two entries per photographer, not to have been entered in any previous Maidenhead Camera Club Competitions (Other than Club Challenge).

How to enter:

Images should conform to the standard Projected Images 1400 wide by 1050 sRGB framework so we can show them on the XEED projector at the AGM or whenever; the format is just the same as for Annual Competition Projected Images: name1 name2-THEMED-Title title etc.

Send your entries by e-mail from now until midnight 30th April to the competition secretary (Steve Mundy this time at smundy@lenscap.purple-cloud.com - please remove the lenscap before sending )

The competition secretary will check formats and review any really wild or (on-line) embarrassing content; entries will be acknowledged by e-mail except for non-e-mail members.

Presentation:

There will be a display of the images - like a DSLRU Competition and anonymous - on Steve Mundy's web site [address to be added when it gets sorted] where the entries will be presented for viewing (once a resonable number of entries have been received)

The order of presentation will be random.

Judging:

Judging will be by a panel of three judges who are club members (And are not alllowed to enter their own work) whose identities will be revealed after the entry closing date.

Results will be shown (with titles & authors) at the AGM on 24th May, and will also go to Competition Images / Annual Themed - Decisive Moment 2010-11.

Prize: The Thames Trophy . . .
