Walking

This started off as a set of experimental pictures: all taken at 1/4s while moving, no stabiliser, and not using the viewfinder. I walked for a an hour and a half, and took about 200 shots. Some of them are quite amazing individually, but the first thing that struck me while viewing the set for the first time is that it tells a story. The story is partly about the route that I took and the things that caught my attention along the way, and partly about what it must be like for someone else going for a walk with me. I walk fast.

I have set this up as an 800x600 Flash movie. Most browsers should be able to play it, but you do need broadband: the file is over 4MB.

Enjoy Walking

I think this is absolutely brilliant. I really loved the Tube journey photos that were shown a couple of weeks back, and think you've done a really good job following this theme.

Well done!

Yes, some great images, Andrew. I shall have a go at this myself.
