As part of the MCC Development Programme Dave Mundy and Ed Doughty organised and lead a trip to Dinton Pastures to pass on their vast knowledge of photographing birds. So after an exhaustive five minutes of tuition those who braved the frosty morning knew as much as Dave and Ed!

It was down to Dave to book the birds and Ed the weather so when the group of eager photographers walked down to the waters edge they were bathed in glorious winter sunshine but alas not a bird in sight. Which just goes to prove you should never leave anything down to the Chairman! Luckily one of the band had some bread so with that and a few very dodgy bird calls some feathered friends were encouraged to come out of hiding and the fun could start.
